Lance is actively involved in many charitable organisations such as Jump 4 Health and Kops N Kids.
All of which promote the importance of helping the community to come together through sport, health & fitness and enabling those who would otherwise not have access to the services they offer.
Lance has been the driving force behind the Sports Traider charity for the last 10 years and is equally committed to the next 10. Lance’s role means he connects with funding partners, high profile supporters, volunteers and beneficiaries, all on the same day! His passion is to engage with more of each group to increase the impact of the charity.
Achievements
Lance Haggith is the founder of the charity Sports Traider. In 2022 was awarded the OBE in recognition of his charity efforts over the last 13 years.
In 2012 he had the privilege of being a Torch Bearer for the London Olympics.
In 2010 he won the winner of the 2010 BBC Sports Personality Of The Year Unsung Hero Award for establishing Sports Traider, Britain’s first chain of charity sports shops.

Jump4Health
During the pandemic, Sports Traider charity has seen a significant increase in the number of people who are struggling with depression and anxiety. He launched the now viral #jump4health campaign in response; to provide support and to offer a healthy antidote to anxiety and depression through sports.
Hoopsaid
Hoops Aid is a major fundraising event for Sports Traider and the biggest celebrity charity basketball event in the UK. Celebrity team members. Sports Traider is a charity dedicated to the sponsorship, assistance and community projects that benefit youngsters who struggle to gain access to sports.

Haggith was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2022 Birthday Honours for charitable and voluntary services to vulnerable people, particularly during Covid-19.
